Camp 1 Rootz is developed by a Black-led, intergenerational, women-centered organizing collective rooted in Mississippi. We organize young people, families, and working-class communities to build collective power through popular education, land stewardship, food sovereignty, community health and safety, youth leadership, and collective governance.
